JKClips — Privacy Policy

JKClips ("the App", "we", "us") is a tool operated by an individual that creates short-form video clips from livestreams and publishes them to the operator's own connected social media accounts. This policy explains what data the App accesses and how it is used.

1. Information we access

• Authorization tokens. When you connect a TikTok or Google/YouTube account, the App receives OAuth access and refresh tokens that let it publish videos on your behalf.
• Account identifiers. Basic identifiers returned by the platform (e.g. a TikTok open_id, a YouTube channel ID) used to direct uploads to the correct account.
• Video content. The clip files you choose to publish, and their titles, descriptions, and hashtags.

The App does not collect contacts, messages, browsing history, location, or any data unrelated to publishing your clips.

2. How we use it

Accessed data is used solely to publish videos to the accounts you connect, at your direction. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or any secondary purpose.

3. Storage and security

Authorization tokens are stored locally on the operator's own machine in a restricted-permission file and are never transmitted to any third party other than the originating platform's official API. We do not operate a shared server that stores other users' data.

4. Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. Data is exchanged only with the official APIs of the platforms you connect (TikTok, Google/ YouTube) to perform the actions you request.

5. Google / YouTube data — Limited Use

JKClips's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. YouTube functionality is provided via the YouTube API Services; by using it you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy.

6. TikTok data

TikTok account data accessed via the TikTok Content Posting API is used only to publish content to your own TikTok account and is handled in accordance with TikTok's developer terms.

7. Data retention and deletion

You can revoke the App's access at any time from your TikTok or Google account's connected-apps settings. Deleting the App's local token file immediately removes its ability to act on your behalf. We retain no copies of revoked tokens.

8. Children

The App is not directed to anyone under 18 and does not knowingly process data from minors.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
